The purpose of the Workshop, which was arranged 18 October 2011 in Moscow, was to provide a communication platform for enhancing cooperation on clean energy within the region and define key practical steps to be taken by BASREC. The workshop dealt with four priority areas: Combined heat and power, carbon capture and storage, renewable energy and clean energy infrastructure. Within these fields, the partnership aims to collect best practice examples from the region and organise thematic workshops to further study the potential of these technologies.
